Our Federation is founded with our passion for traditional martial arts. Chi Ryu Aiki-Jitsu, Okinawa Kobudo and Iaido are the main focus in our daily training routine.
At our Federation, we do not only teach martial arts, we strive to create a community where we can share our passion for tradition, etiquettes and elegance.
Feel free to get in contact with the Honbu Dojo or one of our affiliated clubs in Europe to get further information.
Shihan Jhonny Bernaschewice, founder of the Federation, about his principles
Sometimes students expect the sensei to make them better in their techniques or to “deliver” the techniques. They train them for a while until they decide for themselves that it is time to get/ask for the next technique. It is more like a teacher – customer – relationship rather than a sensei – student – relationship. But that’s not how the study of martial arts works, regardless of whatever art you study. Students adapting to the teaching routines of a dojo rather than the sensei adapting to the student is the most distinctive difference between a traditional dojo and a modern school of martial arts.

The Arts We Practice
PSYCHOLOGICAL STATE OF BEING PREPARED, ONENESS OF MIND AND SWORD
Iaido – the art of drawing a sword from its sheath and delivering an instant inevitable strike. It is the perception of oneself and the enemy and is practiced by repeating and polishing waza. The secret of iaido resides in always being in harmony with the universe by holding victory in your sheath without drawing your blade.
Chi Ryu Aiki-Jitsu
UNIQUE MOVEMENT PATTERNS, PRECISE AND DYNAMIC TECHNIQUES
Chi Ryu Aiki-Jitsu - an effective system of kicking, punching, hitting, throwing and strangling. Traditional weapon techniques (from Ken-Jitsu or Iai-Jitsu) form the fundament for many techniques found in the Chi Ryu Aiki-Jitsu programme. Shihan Bernaschewice developed this system as synthesis of this training in martial arts during the 1980s.
USE OF CENTRAL BODY POWER, WEAPONS AS TOOLS FOR CONTROLLING THE BODY
Okinawa Kobudo - the old martial way of the Ryukyu island Okinawa is based on the use of various weapons practiced in kata, bunkai, and kumite. The system incorporates Okinawan farming tools and weapons with a Chinese and Japanese origin. Okinawa Kobudo teaches body power rather than muscle strength.
