Summertour #3 – Wismar (Germany)

Some of the participants

After spending two weeks in Austria the path led Shihan Jhonny Bernaschewice to Wismar in Germany. For several years now the club Mizutama Ryu invites him to the small city at the Baltic Sea in order to teach students in his arts. The seminar was organised by Sensei Christina Berberich, the successor of Sensei Kathrin Siggelkow. From 27 to 31 July 2009 students from Wismar, Raesfeld, Stade, Magdeburg, Quierschied and Hungary worked hard to improve their skills in the arts of Chi Ryu Aiki-Jitsu and Okinawa Kobudo. Assisted by Shihan Andreas Baron and Senseis from different schools Shihan Bernaschewice managed to respond to every question raised by the students. A special event was a kayak tour near Sternberg. Everyone had a lot of fun, especially two students who tried desperately not to do a roll over… finally they were soaking wet. 🙂

Here are some pictures giving you an impression of the week.
