In recent years ground fighting is deservedly becoming more and more popular. With its numerous techniques combination skills can be developed. It is also perfect for muscle and endurance development, not to mention its high fight value. Moreover it can be efficiently applied for educational and development purposes at a very early age.

At the seminar we will look into the specific development of Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo practices, the typical ground fighting techniques of each style, and their applicability for Chi Ryu Aiki-jitsu. Furthermore, we will see how the well known “small” Chi Ryu techniques can improve the efficiency of other ground fighting techniques, thereby making the Chi Ryu Aiki-Jitsu style even more relevant and timeless.
