Sensei is back in town

Shihan Bernaschewice has arrived back home from his trip to the mainland of Japan. From 24th July to 4th August 2013 he stayed on the island Kyushu for training in the arts of Jodo and Mugai Ryu. He visited Nobeoka mountain and Takasakiyama Monkey Park in Beppu.

Of the many things he experienced during his stay the following was the most touching for him: “The most memorable moment was seeing one of my old sensei back. Aged 104 years he recognized me immediately and we had the opportunity to talk about the things of the past.”
