Announcement Iaido Seminar with Trevor Jones Sensei
This is the first in a series of Iaido events taking place at the Honbu Dojo in Hechtel. Trevor Jones Sensei (七段 Shishidan) from Ohara, Japan will be teaching ZNKR Seitai Iai.
Haruna Matsuo Sensei (1925-2002)
Trevor Jones Sensei moved from Great Britain to Ohara, Japan to pursue his passion of Iaido and Kendo. He has been living there for almost 25 years (with the last 17 years in a row). Next to Oshita Masakazu Sensei he was a long time student of Haruna Matsuo Sensei (1925-2002) of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu.
During the seminar we will focus on ZNKR Seitei Iai Ippon Me to Ju Nihon Me (Kata 1 to 12) and the finer points of the techniques. Detailed explanation of certain parts of the Kata will be provided to improve the technical level of Iaido within our Federation.
The seminar is open to all Iaidoka’s.
Seminar costs: 60 Euros per person incl. accommodation at the Honbu Dojo (please bring your own sleeping bag and air mattress)
Enrollment for the seminar is requested. Deadline for enrollment is June 30th, 2016.
The number of participants is restricted.
