Yawara Ryu students successful at examinations during summer camp

The annual summer camp for Yawara Ryu students (from Magdeburg, Germany) was held from 30th July to 3rd August this year. Shihan Andreas Baron brought along with him 17 students to study the art of Chi Ryu and Iaido. Among them were numerous children who – besides the daily training – took the opportunity to improve their English language skills.

The week was packed with lessons in Chi Ryu Aiki-Jujitsu for both children and adults as well as Iaido for adults. Everyone worked hard and got rewarded with a huge ice-cream at their favourite ice-cream shop Vleugels (organized by Shihan Baron). One afternoon was spend in the dunes in Hechtel and as a highlight they visited  the outdoor playground “Koersels Kappelleke” in Beringen.

After a week full of training it was examination time on Friday. The following student passed their examination:

Ronja Heynke (6th Kyu Chi Ryu Aiki-Jujitsu)
